Travel and accommodation

You are most cordially welcome in our factory in Penzberg.

Please agree your visit and appointment with us with your material by telephone, Fax or e-mail.

Come ideally with some time in reserve and visit some worthwhile sites in Upper Bavaria afterwards - in really close proximity to hamos.

Arrival by car

From Munich (from the North or West)
Motorway A95 direction Garmisch-Partenkirchen until exit ("Ausfahrt") 8: Penzberg/Iffeldorf.
From there continue on the local B class road (yellow road signs) in the direction of the centre ("Innenstadt") of Penzberg (see sketch of route).

From the East
Motorway A8 Salzburg-Munich ("München") to the exit ("Ausfahrt") Irschenberg.
Then via the B 472 road you travel via Miesbach and Bad Tölz to Bichl. From there, further to Penzberg (see sketch of route).

From the South
Motorway A95 from Garmisch-Partenkirchen (direction Munich = München) up to exit 8 (Penzberg/ Iffeldorf). From there on the local B class road (yellow toad signs) in the direction of the town centre ("Innenstadt") of Penzberg (see sketch of route).

In Penzberg follow the signs in the direction of the hospital ("Krankenhaus" - see the town plan).

Arrival by train

You travel with the "S-Bahn" local railway line 6 from the main railway station (Hauptbahnhof) in Munich or with the train (direction Mittenwald/Innsbruck) up to the stop in Tutzing.

In Tutzing you change for the train in the direction Kochel am See (hourly connection).
Please leave the train after 4 stops, in Penzberg.  

The time to travel from Munich to Penzberg amounts to around 60 Minutes.

We will gladly pick you up at Penzberg station.

Arrival by plane

All important airlines fly to the international airport Munich II "Franz-Josef-Strauß" (IATA Code: MUC).

Should you drive from the airport to Penzberg by rental car, you need approx. 70 minutes (see arrival by car).

The entire journey takes approx. 90 minutes by public transport (train). You can reach the main station in Munich (Hauptbahnhof) with the "S-Bahn" local train connection, line S8.
You travel further from there with the local "S-Bahn" train line S6 or by train (see arrival by train).

Hotel/Accommodation 

We will gladly reserve a hotel room for you in Stadthotel Berggeist, located close to hamos. A single room there costs - depending on the time of year and the room standard - between € 74 and € 89 per night (incl. buffet breakfast).
